I just ran a patch cycle on an a small Exchange 2007 Standard Server running ForeFront Protection For Exchange 2010 and was shocked that it took over half an hour to install KB2538719 Hotfix Rollup 3 for Microsoft Forefront Protection for Exchange .
The server in question did not have a single user connected, runs only 30 mail boxes and has 4 Xeon processors and 12GB of RAM in a HyperV Virtual Machine . I was getting very very nervous but in the end it did complete without error.
