SOLVED: Jet Reports: Does Not Show Anything in the COMPANY field or You Receive a NAV CLIENT FINSQL.EXE COULD NOT BE FOUND

If you are working with JET REPORTS in Excel and you find that the COMPANY field will not populate and you receive the following message when you click the TEST CONNECTION button:

THE REQUIRED DYNAMICS NAV CLIENT EXECUTABLE (FINSQL.EXE) COULD NOT BE FOUND IN “.

then you most likely have not populated your JET > DATA SOURCE > GENERAL > DYNAMICS NAV CLIENT FOLDER path.  When using Jet 32bit on Windows 7 64bit, you should use

C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)MICROSOFT DYNAMICS NAV\60\CLASSIC
