If you want to select copy paste only the visible cells in Excel:

  1. In Excel 2007, 2010, 2013 or Excel 2016, select the cells you are interested in
  2. On the HOME tab, click SELECT GOTO
  3. Click GOTO SPECIAL
  4. Click VISIBLE CELLS ONLY
  5. Right click on the cells you selected in step 1 and click COPY
  6. Paste the cells wherever you want and you will see it took only the visible cells

Thank you for this video about how to paste visible cells only. It works only if you paste the cells on a different sheet where cells are not hidden. If I try to copy from Col. A and paste it on Col. B on that same sheet where some cells are invisible, it does not work.
Can you please advise? I am using office 365.

    Hi Peace;

    That makes sens. If the rows are hidde, they will be hidden when you paste. You could paste into a different worksheet (as you suggest) or workbook.
