If you installed the DELL SAN HEADQUARTERS ‘SERVER’ on a new server and are connecting to it from your desktop (or another server), you will likely want to get delete the old server in SAN HQ.  The problem is REMOVE SERVER is not an option.  Fortunately the solution is easy:

REMOVE A SERVER FROM DELL SAN HQ

  1. Launch Dell SAN HQ
  2. Right click on your NEW server (not the old one)
  3. Select MAKE THIS DEFAULT SERVER
    dell-san-hq-make-default-server
  4. Click YES to the ARE YOU SURE prompt
  5. Right click on the OLD server (not the new one)
  6. Select REMOVE SERVER
  7. Click YES on the ARE YOU SURE prompt
