huawei_p10_lite headphone jack-gorilla-glassThe Huawei P10 Lite was released on March 27, 2017 but is still a good device today in 2019.  We recently tested a Google / LG Nexus 5X and have very little good to say about that units build quality.

We just bought a P10 used and want to show you how to get through a few configuration issues, like hiding unwanted apps and bloatware from the home screen and setting the wallpaper to not stretch over multiple home screens, now that it runs Android 8 with EMotional User Interface (EMUI) version.

Overall we are very happy with the Huawei P10 lite and think it makes an excellent used phone choice.

The things we liked about the Huawei P10 Lite were:

  1. huawei p10 lite cameraGood build quality
  2. Large high resolution bright screen, even after 2 years
  3. Physical headphone jack
  4. Easy setup
  5. Good Battery
  6. Fingerprint reader for unlocking
  7. Very good camera that even supports custom ISO settings
  8. Has a PHYSICAL head phone jack as well as blue tooth.

The things we did not like about the Huawei P10 Lite were:

  1. Does not (yet?) have face recognition for unlocking
  2. Is not rated waterproof or even water resistant (Watch THIS video to see that it IS water resistant)
  3. Does not support Samsung Pay (other non-Samsung’s do support Samsung pay)
  4. Huawei has released Android 8 upgrade but not yet made v9 available
