SOLVED: VIDEO: How To Source & Install the Latest Office365 GPO Templates

We explain how to find and install the latest Office365 GPO Templates into your Active Directory.

We also explain:

  1. Office365 templates are suffixed with “16” which is very confusing to many.  Microsoft decided to end their GPO file naming with Office 2016, so Office 2016, Office 2019 and Office 365 Pro+ all use the same ADMX templates.  So word.admx, excel.admx, powerpoint.admx, etc, apply to all Office 2016/19/365Pro+
  2. ADMIN > XXXX.OPAX files are only used by the Office Customization Tool and not GPO
