Because there are only a few BIOS / UEFI manufacturers in the world you would think the settings would be in the same place, but they are not. As we explained in this short article about American Megatrends, their main product, “Aptio“, is highly customizable and big brands like Dell, HP, and Lenovo like to hide the fact they are really just assembling other OEM computer parts.
