SOLVED: How to Send Email Through Command Line

If you want to rule out YOUR mail server and /or mail client as a problem, you can easily send a short message to a server using the following command line:

telnet mail.arrrrs.com 25                 
          note:  change the mail server to the server you want to CONNECT to.

ehlo

mail from:anyaddress@adnydomain.com

rcpt to:imatthews@arrrrs.com          
          note: the email address must be handled by the server you connected to.

data
