I’ve watched your video on Window 11 snipping thanks very in-depth BUT i didn’t see a way to do what i need, I’ve just come across from Mac and i had a feature where i could snip then drag and drop without saving , i could drop in into different aps like messenger or discord for example is there a way to do this on W 11

Hi Rod; This is STILL not available with the integrated snipping tool so when this is necessary, I install three free GreenShot snipping tool. https://getgreenshot.org/ It works and does not have bothersome popups or other problems, but it annoys me that such a basic and common feature is not built in.

    Thanks for checking in Rod.

I watched your video on replacing a surface book keyboard base battery, and it was awesome. The problem I have encountered is that the computer doesn’t “recognize” the new battery, it shows it at 0% at all times. I have tried uninstalling and scanning for hardware changes and all the fixes I could find online. Any ideas?

I reset my Lenovo Win 10 Home pc and hit don’t save my files. Now my keyboard ps/2 driver seems to have completely disappeared; only the HID (?) driver shows. How can I get my ps/2 driver back so I can use the keyboard that came with my desktop AIO?

I would go into DEVICE MANAGER and remove the keyboard then reboot at which time it will Plug and Play.

Let us know how it goes Judith.

I watched your video con Jabra speaker 710. My question is, should I buy two Jabra 710 and link them or one Jabra 810 for a 15 person meeting room?

    Ian Matthews · October 1, 2020 at 11:49 am

    Hi Enrique;

For my large-ish room I used two 710’s. However, I found that some users hit the SYNC button or power off one of the 710’s thereby breaking the sync so if I was to do it again, I would more seriously consider the 810. The big issue for the 810 was that it was wired and so it was a non-option for this client.

    I hope that helps.

TYPO on home page

“Loose Contacts” should be spelled “Lose Contacts” with a single “o” unless you’re talking about loose cables or something like that.

If this process does not work for you, I suggest calling the manufacturer as they must see this all the time. If they have any suggestions, please post another comment here to help others. Thanks

Do you think that DELL optiplex 5070 MINI Tower I7 9700, 16gb ram, uhd 530, 1tb crucial ssd nvme would be a good choice for programming with modern language like JAVA?

    Ian Matthews · December 27, 2019 at 7:58 pm

Definately. We can’t guarantee anything, but I cannot think of any reason JAVA, any other language, or non-gaming program would be run incredibly well on that Dell 5070 config.

I watched your video ‘Easy Fix Lenovo Laptop Flashing Power Light…..’ and found it very clear and concise even for a low tech person like myself.
However, I have a Lenovo Flex 2-14 with the same flashing power light issue. I tried disconnecting the battery for several seconds but to no avail. I also tried disconnecting it and holding the power button for 30 seconds which also didn’t work.
I did notice on my laptop when the power light was on the processor fan ran as well unlike what was happening in your video. Can you suggest what the issue might be and a possible remedy?
Thank you.

At that point you may have a defective motherboard or CPU. Other than pulling the battery and letting the unit drain for a few minutes I can suggest you try to pull the BIOS battery (should look like a watch battery) and the memory too (both easy once you get the back off).

Saw your U tube video for disassembling a Samsung C460 & used it to replace the paper pickup solenoid. However, since then have a “Door Open, Close Door”. problem displayed. Have checked both front & rear doors by opening & closing them & tried to see if there is a “trip switch” fault but not really sure what to look for..Wondered if you know where or what part(s) are needed to resolve this?
