SOLVED: What Happened to the Big Gallery of GET MORE GADGETS ONLINE?

It appears that Microsoft has depricated Gadgets in favour of Tiled Apps in Windows 8, so know you have four choices:

1. Use the half dozen Gadgets built into Windows 7 andVista
2. Use the 35 or so more Windows Gadgets found on http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/personalize/gadgets?SignedIn=1
3. Search (Bing, Google…) for specific Gadgets and download them directly from the companies that made them
4. Get over it

I am not happy about this but largely have opted for choice 4.
