The three important things to do are:

1. Connect the DriveAssist 51 to your WiFi
   1. Update the firmware and maps and from then on, they will automatically update when they are on your Wifi… like in your garage
2. Connect to your cell phones Bluetooth
   1. To use the Garmin as a speakerphone and have it display inbound text messages
3. SETTINGS > DASHCAM > CAMERA PLACEMENT
   1. Core configuration so it understands where it is placed in the windshield
