If you have a PowerPoint Addin macro it is likely in the a .PPAM file and that cannot be edited.  .PPTM files can be edited so we explain how to open and copy the code from the .PPAM and place it into a new .PPTM file so you can make changes:

      If it is from a post 2007 version of PowerPoint it is very difficult to decrypt. If it is from an older version, there are many password crackers that will work quickly.
