Under Mango, there are only two ways to get the pictures, videos or music off your Windows Mobile 7 phone:

Install Zune
Sync with SkyDrive (just click on the … options button on a picture and select UPLOAD TO SKYDRIVE)

Currently Windows Mobile 7 phones do NOT show up as external USB disks in My Computer. This is definately an annoying limitation that means you can NOT just plug your device into a PC and then drag files back and forth. Several blogs have stated that Microsoft is working on correcting this… but don’t hold your breath because some changes take a long time.
