SOLVED: Email Server Settings For Common Services

We often need the SMTP email configuration for different services and are tired of searching all over the internet for them.  Here is a list of email server configurations from services you might use (in alphabetic order)

APPLE MAIL SERVER SETTINGS

Incoming Server:  imap.mail.me.com
Incoming Port: IMAP 993
Outgoing Server: smtp.mail.me.com
Outgoing Mail server (SMTP) Port: 465 or 587 (for TLS)
Username: Your full e-mail address
Password: Your Apple e-mail account password

Notes: Requires SSL and/or TLS

AT&T MAIL SERVER SETTINGS

Incoming Server: inbound.att.net OR imap.mail.att.net
Incoming Port:POP3 995 or IMAP 993
Outgoing Server: outbound.att.net or smtp.mail.att.net
Outgoing Mail server (SMTP) Port: 465 or 587 (for TLS)
Username: Your full e-mail address
Password: Your e-mail account password

Notes: Requires SSL and/or TLS

GMAIL MAIL SERVER SETTINGS

Incoming Server: imap.gmail.com 
Incoming Port: IMAP 993
Outgoing Server: smtp.gmail.com
Outgoing Mail server (SMTP) Port: 465 or 587 (for TLS)
Username: Your full e-mail address
Password: Your Gmail account password

Notes: Requires SSL and/or TLS

GODADDY MAIL SERVER SETTINGS

Incoming Server: imap.secureserver.net OR pop.secureserver.net
Incoming Port: POP3 995 or IMAP 993
Outgoing Server: smtpout.secureserver.net
Outgoing Mail server (SMTP) Port: 465
Username: Your full e-mail address
Password: Your e-mail account password

IN MOTION HOSTING MAIL SERVER SETTINGS

The ## needs to be changed to the NUMBER of the server InMotion is hosting you on, which you can get from cPannel > ACCOUNT TECHNICAL INFORMATION .  In my case, the server we were on was NGX233.inmotionhosting.com so the number was 233 (as in secure233.inmotionhosting.com)

Incoming Server: secure##.inmotionhosting.com
Incoming Port: POP3 995 or IMAP 993
Outgoing Server: secure##.inmotionhosting.com
Outgoing Mail server (SMTP) Port: 465
Username: Your full e-mail address
Password: Your e-mail account password
SSL: YES
NOTES: SMTP Authentication Required & Secure Authentication or SPA needs to be turned off

MICROSOFT 365 MAIL SERVER SETTINGS

Microsoft 365 email should NOT be confused with Outlook.com email.

Incoming Server: outlook.office365.com
Incoming Port: IMAP=993 POP=995
Outgoing Server: smtp.office365.com
Outgoing Mail server (SMTP) Port: 465
Username: Your full e-mail address
Password: Your e-mail account password

OUTLOOK.COM MAIL SERVER SETTINGS

Outlook.com email should NOT be confused with Microsoft 365 email.

Incoming Server: outlook.office365.com
Incoming Port: IMAP=993 POP=995
Outgoing Server: smtp-mail.outlook.com
Outgoing Mail server (SMTP) Port: 465
Username: Your full e-mail address
Password: Your e-mail account password

NOTES: SSL/TLS, OAuth2

SHAW MAIL SERVER SETTINGS

Incoming Server:  pop.shaw.ca OR imap.shaw.ca
Incoming Port: IMAP=993 POP=110
Outgoing Server: mail.shaw.ca
Outgoing Mail server (SMTP) Port: 465
Username: Your Shaw email address WITHOUT the @shaw.ca
Password: Your e-mail account password

VERIZON LTE MAIL SERVER SETTINGS

Incoming Server: incoming.verizon.net
Incoming Port: POP=995
Outgoing Server: outgoing.verizon.net
Outgoing Mail server (SMTP) Port: 465
Username: Your username only
Password: Your e-mail account password
